Computer Engineer & Intelligent Systems Specialist
The Mission: Bridging the Digital Divide
My objective is to democratize Artificial Intelligence. While programming has evolved from low-level assembly to high-level abstractions like Python and Java, a significant barrier remains for those who are not digitally literate.
I believe AI is the ultimate bridge. Through Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Machine Translation, and Agentic Workflows, we can move away from complex interfaces and toward a future where people simply request functionality in their native tongue. My work focuses on making this technology accessible to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and underserved communities.
Engineering & Systems Security
I specialize in building end-to-end, secured systems that integrate intelligent automation to drive productivity. My approach covers the entire SDLC/MLOps pipeline—from initial feasibility analysis and system design to deployment and maintenance.
- Systems-Level Thinking: I focus on how disparate components integrate securely to meet business objectives.
- Security-First Architecture: With a background in networking and ethical hacking, I don't treat security as an afterthought. I implement Zero Trust and Defense in Depth across the transport, network, and application layers.
- Threat Modeling: I utilize the STRIDE model to examine system components, ensuring the infrastructure is as resilient as the code it hosts. My experience in "breaking" systems allows me to build them with a defender’s mindset.
Academic Research: Low-Resource NLP
My research lies at the intersection of Multimodal Generative Models and Low-Resource Languages, with a specific focus on specialized domains like Agriculture.
science Research Spotlight
"Currently investigating how semi-supervised ASR can help farmers in rural communities access critical market data via localized voice commands."
Language should not be a barrier to sustainable growth. I am dedicated to improving transduction applications—specifically ASR and Machine Translation—for languages that have been historically overlooked by the tech industry. My research tasks include:
- Human-in-the-Loop (HITL): Developing better data collection methods through participatory research.
- Semi-Supervised Learning: Innovating models that can utilize unlabelled audio data.
- Cross-Lingual Transfer Learning: Leveraging high-resource language data to empower low-resource representations.
